Set a budget with Descent and get alerted when flights get cheap
Hey everyone! I’m Pietro, a solo indie dev working on Descent.
I built this because I got tired of constantly checking Google Flights, waiting for a fare to drop. I wanted something straightforward: set a budget, get a notification when the price falls below it. Simple as that.
I started with a rough proof-of-concept just to see if the idea worked, then released a polished version shaped by community feedback. Features like business class filtering, direct-only flights, passenger count, and multi-currency all came directly from what users asked for.
What I’m most excited about is Descent Copilot. You can create alerts using natural language—just say something like “Cheap flights to Tokyo in August, direct only, under 150 euros,” and it’s set. It runs entirely on-device with Apple Intelligence, no cloud or subscription required.
