DOORA is a self funded proptech startup based in Sydney. We are not a pre revenue company with just a pitch deck and an idea. We have real capital invested, and our minimum viable product (MVP) is currently being professionally built by a development agency. It is set to launch into beta later this year.
This is a founding engineer role. You are not joining an existing team; you are the team. You will take full ownership of the codebase after handoff and build everything that follows.
Our stack is React.js with ASP.NET Core (C#) for full stack development. Because we handle sensitive personal data, experience with encryption and compliance is essential.
We are offering between $170,000 and $200,000 plus undiluted equity through an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP). The base grant vests over three years, with performance milestones tied to real company outcomes. Total potential equity is well above the industry median for a first engineering hire.
