At Veriff, our Engineering team builds the software that powers online identity verification—tackling complex challenges with scalable, innovative solutions. We're looking for an Android Developer to help us build a reliable, secure, and high-performing SDK that works seamlessly across a wide range of devices.

In this role, you'll contribute to efficient, scalable solutions that integrate smoothly with partner applications—all while learning and growing in a fast-paced environment.

You’ll help protect honest people online by:

• Contributing to the development and maintenance of our Android SDK, with a focus on performance, security, and usability

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and backend engineers

• Supporting efforts to ensure compatibility across a diverse range of Android devices—from low-end to high-end

• Writing clean, maintainable, and well-tested code

• Participating in code reviews and incorporating feedback to improve quality

• Assisting in debugging issues and resolving performance bottlenecks

• Staying current with Android development best practices and emerging technologies

• Helping improve development workflows, including testing and release processes

You’re the right fit for the role if you have:

• Experience as an Android Developer with hands-on work in Kotlin and/or Java

• Familiarity with Android frameworks and building mobile applications or SDK features

• A basic understanding of RESTful APIs and their integration

• Experience with testing (unit or integration) and debugging

• An understanding of mobile app architecture and best practices (exposure to MVVM, clean architecture, or similar is sufficient)

• Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn

• Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment

You’re an especially awesome match if you have:

• Exposure to Agile environments (Scrum or Kanban)

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines

• Experience with performance optimization or working across different Android devices

• Any exposure to cross-platform tools (such as React Native or Flutter)

• Awareness of accessibility and inclusive design principles
